Indianapolis Colts

Predicted Record: 14-2
Division Record: 6-0
     i. Houston Texans: 2-0
     ii. Jacksonville Jaguars: 2-0
     iii. Tennessee Titans: 2-0

For the first time in his career, Andrew Luck finally has a running game to compliment him. The addition of Frank Gore may only be valuable for a year, maybe two, but this move does wonders for the Colts as they won't be forced to be so one-dimensional. The team also landed Andre Johnson, a wideout who I still think is capable of having a 1000 yard season. Their defense is also better than advertised as the team signed OLB Trent Cole, their other OLB, Robert Mathis, is still producing, MLB D'Qwell Jackson tries to tackle everything in sight, and CB Vontae Davis is growing into a phenomenal ballhawk.
Another factor working in the Colts' favor is how ridiculously easy their schedule is.

One of SportsKop's newest writers wrote a more detailed article previewing the Colts' season. It's a really nice piece with great information on it; I suggest taking a look.
Andrew Luck is on one of my fantasy teams so he better do well this season.
Houston Texans
Predicted Record: 9-7
Division Record: 4-2
     i. Indianapolis Colts: 0-2
     ii. Jacksonville Jaguars: 2-0
     iii. Tennessee Titans: 2-0

The Texans quietly had one of the better off-seasons in the NFL. They led off with a phenomenal draft, in which they project to have landed three starters. I also like Brian Hoyer as a quarterback as he typically plays smart, has great accuracy on his deep balls, and displays leadership to the highest degree. Signing NT Vince Wilfork was also a huge move. To think that the #1 overall pick from 2014, Jadeveon Clowney, could be the worst player on the Texans' defensive line should be frightening for the rest of the league. One thing that this team lacks is experience in winning, and that inexperience will make closing out games tough. They'll be vying for the top spot in the division for parts of the season, but it doesn't help that the Texans are likely to play their home match-up against the Colts without RB Arian Foster. Expect them to be in the hunt for a Wild Card spot, and quite possibly win one of them.

Now that he has significant help on the defensive line, J.J. Watt may have his best season yet.
Tennessee Titans
Predicted Record: 3-13
Division Record: 1-5
     i. Houston Texans: 0-2
     ii. Indianapolis Colts: 0-2
     iii. Jacksonville Jaguars: 1-1

The Titans have a lot of work to do. So much so, that this prediction could very well be optimistic for them. With their first two picks, Tennessee selected some of the most talented players available in QB Marcus Mariota and WR Dorial Green-Beckham. In Marcus' case, we have to see if his skills translate in the NFL. So far, he's put on a quality showing in the preseason as he's been completing strong throws on the run with ease. In Green-Beckham's case, the Titans took a chance on a highly volatile player with lots of potential. How he ends up fairing with his off-field issues in all an unknown right now.

Picking Mariota could be the official start of the Titans' rebuild.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Predicted Record: 3-13
Division Record: 1-5
     i. Houston Texans: 0-2
     ii. Indianapolis Colts: 0-2
     iii. Tennessee Titans: 1-1

After years of seeing a team that has no direction, the Jaguars are finally putting some pieces together. Now the strong-armed Blake Bortles needs to to show that he's developing and could be a cornerstone for this team. After adding some wide receivers and running back T.J. Yeldon, this team may finally start taking some strides on offense. The defense actually has a few valuable pieces, but because they're usually on the field for so long, they're usually caught in bad positions.

Blake Bortles has to prove that there he could be a quality quarterback after being the third overall pick in the 2014 draft.
