Fantasy Football Preview 2015: Top 10 TEs

Honorable Mentions
Jordan Reed
- Washington's QB situation can't get any worse than last year so there is some hope here. Reed's athleticism makes him very promising but his injury history is a major deterrent.

Jordan Cameron
- This all depends on what team Cameron plays on next year, but he's proven that he could be a Pro Bowl caliber player. His concussion history that keeps him off the field a lot is the only real obstacle in his way.

Vernon Davis
- Imagining a top tight end list without Davis is too hard when considering everything he is capable of. With all the talent in the world, one should expect a bounce-back season from Vernon.

*Note: If Chudziski does become the offensive coordinator for the 49ers, this plays into Davis' favor as the coach has a history of succeeding with his tight ends.

Hirsch's Top 10
10. Jason Witten
- If either DeMarco Murray or Dez Bryant are lost through free agency, Jason Witten jumps up this list immediately. Even after all these years, he is still Tony Romo's safety blanket.

9. Coby Fleener/Dwayne Allen
- Both of these guys hamper each other with their time share but still put up enough numbers to make this list.

8. Delaine Walker
- Walker will be inconsistent as always but his mismatch potential always makes him intriguing.

7. Antonio Gates
- Every year people assume that Gates is finished but it looks like there is no end in sight for the tight end's career.

6. Travis Kelce
- The athletic tight end can make big plays in a division that may be hitting a decline. Kelce should only improve upon his good rookie campaign with more seasoning.

5. Martellus Bennett
- Cutler throws tons of interceptions but his big arm helps his targets get their numbers. Coaching changes should also help the Chicago offense improve.

4. Greg Olsen
- Mr. Consistency is held back by Cam Newton's inconsistencies but the two should continue to grow together.

3. Julius Thomas
- This is under the assumption that Peyton Manning doesn't retire (although that looks more and more likely everyday). If the legendary quarterback does decide to call it quits, Thomas easily loses his spot here.

2. Rob Gronkowski
- Tom Brady loves going to the big man so the amount of targets will always be ample.

1. Jimmy Graham
- It wouldn't be wise to expect two down years in a row from the New Orleans Saints. Their potent offense should bounce back nicely.
