2013/14 Soccer Season Recap

Since it is always hard to remember which team has won which piece of silverware throughout the long season of European soccer, I have compiled a list for every major trophy from the 2013/14 season. Following Liverpool's end of season collapse, Manchester City has secured their 2nd Premier League Title in 3 years. Real Madrid has also now officially fallen out of the contention after their shocking 2-0 defeat to Celta Vigo for the La Liga title. Who else would have thought that Atlético Madrid would have a legitimate shot at the Champions League and domestic league double a year after selling their prized forward, Falcao. Another interesting thing to note is that Arsenal could finally end their 9 year trophy drought with an FA Cup victory against Hull City this weekend on 5/16/2014, a match in which Arsenal are heavily favored. I have also included predictions for all of the undecided cups.

Europe:

UEFA Champions League: Atlético Madrid / Real Madrid - 24th May 2014 (Prediction: 2-1 Real Madrid) I can't help but feel that Real Madrid will be the first team to achieve El Décimo (10 European titles)
UEFA Europa League: Benfica / Sevilla - 14th May 2014 (Prediction: 2-0 Benfica)
UEFA Super Cup: Bayern München

England:

Premier League: Manchester City
Football League Championship: Leicester City
Football League One: Wolverhampton Wanderers
Football League Two: Chesterfield
FA Cup: Arsenal / Hull City - 17th May 2014 (Prediction: 3-1 Arsenal) Wénger ends Arsenal's trophy drought, there I said it.
Football League Cup: Manchester City
FA Charity Shield: Manchester United

Spain:

Primera División: Atlético Madrid / Barcelona (Prediction: Atlético Madrid seal the league with a 1-1 draw) Barcelona are currently in a spell of bad form, and any result but a Barcelona win will result in glory for Madrid.
Copa del Rey: Real Madrid
Supercopa de España: Barcelona

Germany:

Fußball-Bundesliga: Bayern München
DFB-Pokal: Bayern München / Borussia Dortmund - 17th May 2014 (Prediction: 3-2 Borussia Dortmund) I can't help but think Schweinsteiger's injury will be the deciding factor in this one, and Bayern have been guilty of putting up lackluster performances of late.
DFL-Supercup: Borussia Dortmund

Italy:

Serie A: Juventus
Coppa Italia: Napoli
Supercoppa Italiana: Juventus

Portugal:

Primeira Liga: Benfica
Taça de Portugal: Benfica / Rio Ave - 18th May 2014 (Prediction: 3-0 Benfica) Benfica are the better side.
Taça da Liga: Benfica
Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira: Porto

France:

Ligue 1: Paris Saint-Germain
Coupe de France: Guingamp

Coupe de la Ligue: Paris Saint-Germain
Trophée des Champions: Paris Saint-Germain

Netherlands:

Eredivisie: Ajax
KNVB Beker: PEC Zwolle
Johan Cruijff Schaal: Ajax
